The nutrition benefits in romaine lettuce are super impressive!  It’s loaded with vitamins A, B6, C, E, and minerals like copper, potassium, magnesium and manganese, making it a great addition to any juice or smoothie. The vitamins and minerals in romaine assist in providing healthy skin, hair, eyes, liver, heart function, and it also contains cancer inhibiting carotenoids.  Get your greens on friends!


6-8 romaine leaves
4 stalks of celery
small bunch of parsley
2 Granny Smith apples
juice of one large orange
juice of 1/2 of a lemon
2 cups of filtered water


Blend all ingredients except the juice from the lemon and orange in a high speed blender and strain through a small sieve to remove some of the pulp.  Once you have removed some of the pulp add in the lemon and orange juice.  Stir to combine.
