This elixir has it all! It has become one of my favourites, it boosts my energy, fuels me with antioxidants, helps to supports my liver and immune system, as well as provides me with protein. Giving up coffee wasn’t easy… but including this warm elixir into my morning rituals sure made the transition smoother.
1 cup cashew milk * or any other nut milk*
1 cup filtered water
2 tsp maca powder
2 tsp raw cacao powder
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of vanilla bean paste *optional*
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp Irish Sea moss gel
In the jar of a high speed blender, blend all ingredients. Transfer to a small sauce pan and heat until just warm. You don’t want to overheat the maca or the Irish Sea moss, as it will weaken there healing properties.
Serve with a sprinkle of cacao powder.
