Simple and easy with the delicious taste and wonderful health benefits of molasses. Molasses is one of the healthiest natural sweeteners, however, it is processed which I’m not a huge fan of BUT I do love that it has vital vitamins and minerals, plus it offers amazing antioxidants, it can help prevent menstrual cramps due to the high levels of iron. The manganese in molasses helps the production of healthy sex hormones and the calcium keeps bones healthy and strong. Molasses also offers vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid which helps to prevent and relieve headaches, fatigue as well as stress.
1 cup organic nut milk – I used a homemade blend of oat & coconut milk
1 tbsp organic molasses – unsulphured
1/2 tsp organic alcohol-free vanilla
1 tbsp coconut oil
* optional * a sprinkle of bee pollen
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan and warm through until the desired temperature is reached. I like to use a whisk to incorporate the ingredients.
Sprinkle with bee pollen, or cacao & cinnamon powder.
